Update for the Nepal Singing Bowl Field Studies: We have an agent on the ground right now working on the logistics. For nearly a year, Nepal has been plagued with numerous issues that have severely curtailed industry and commerce. A transportation strike has killed most industries that require raw materials, including Singing Bowl makers. Electricity is now off for an average of 14 hours each day. The average Nepalese, has had to endure months of hardship. The government has been paralyzed by internal bickering with no end in sight. Its not pretty. The majority of businesses that manufacture have been shuttered for months. Things like gasoline, kerosene, and cooking oil are so hard to obtain, that the price on the black market has escalated to the point where hardly anyone can afford it. Lines for cooking oil, stretch for miles, taxi's wait 6-8 hours to purchase gasoline. It's pretty insane right now. I am awaiting a progress report from my agent now.

Sound Healing Retreat Immersion 2012: Mitch will run at least 2 programs at the upcoming sound retreat at the Menla Mountain Retreat Center near Phoenicia, NY from June 20 to the 23rd. He joins an international gathering of pioneers in the field of sound healing including John Beaulieu, Zacciah Blackburn, Phillippe Pascal Garnier, Grandmother Barbara Threecrow, Lisa Rafel, Pramod Sapkota, Steven Bachmann, and more.

Mitch has formulated his next Certification program with Himalayan Singing Bowls. It is now a 90 hour program that surpasses his earlier Master Classes, and out distances any competing program offered in the world today. He has structured the program into 3 four day retreats; 2 parts will be scheduled in 2012, and the final certification study will be held in 2013.

Mitch has also scheduled an Advanced Training with the Gong and the Bönpo Shang for 2012. He will only run these trainings once in 2012. The Bönpo Shang program requires his approval for entry.
